VISA to Malta

All about your Visas
Schengen visa has to be obtained from the Embassy / Consulate of the country where the main purpose of travel lies. w.e.f. 21st December 2007, 9 more countries have joined the Schengen treaty making it a total of 24. The list of Schengen countries can be found by clicking on Schengen Information.

Note: In case of travel to more than one Schengen country, please submit your application to the Embassy / Consulate where you will be staying for the maximum number of days. In case of equal stay, one has to apply at the Schengen country which is first port of entry.

Step 1
All visa applications are accepted at the Visa Service Centre.

Step 2
Before applying, please ensure you are very clear on your ‘purpose of visit’ – do remember we are here to assist and help you through the entire visa application process but are not permitted to advise or guide you on choosing a visa category. Since our work is primarily administrative in nature, we have no say on whether you will be granted a visa and how much time it will take to process, as this is entirely the prerogative of the Consulate of the Republic of Malta to decide on.

Step 3
Please go to the link “All about visas” to understand details of Short Stay visas and Long Stay visas.

Step 4
Please ensure you read the security regulation notices before you visit the visa service centres / Embassy.
